I have talked about Beat Saber a few times now, but now the official review is here! Beat Saber has hit PSVR big time, and it was worth the wait.
I have played the ‘story’ through of Destiny 2 Forsaken, and it’s good. There have been a lot of changes, and almost all of them will be personal preference. While a lot will be praising the new game for good reason, for me it’s time to bow out I think.
Another World had me totally enthralled back in the early 90’s. It had cutscenes (rare for the time) and a unique story that was not told through pages of text. It’s a game I have come back to now and then, especially with the 20th anniversary back in 2011. And now, Another World is on the Switch.
I never really got into Guitar Hero or Rock Band, but I understood the appeal and would play if given the chance. And I love swinging swords around. Beat Saber combines both into an experience that is incredibly smooth, natural, and a heap of fun!
Time Carnage is a stationary wave shooter that sees you travelling through time shooting everything sci-fi tropes require you to. Enemies include Zombies, Dinosaurs, Robots, and finally undead Skeleton warriors. This isn’t a groundbreaking game, but I am having a ton of fun playing it.
Generally speaking, I am not a fan of first-person shooters or online multiplayer. There are always exceptions, but until recently multiplayer has been a rule that has been pretty well enforced. And then came along Destiny 2.
