As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in Last Week’s Gaming, I picked up a very cheap Minesweeper game on the eShop. I thought “It’s only a dollar. Might be OK.”
Well, fair to say Minesweeper Genius has surprised me a lot. And I think it will surprise you as well.
I’ve talked about it long enough, and here it is – my review of The Outer Worlds. I don’t go deep into gameplay, but I have a bit to say about the Switch port – mainly I don’t seem to have the same problems others have. I suspect it’s my SD card? I talk about it in the review.
Have a great weekend everyone!
So I didn’t get to play much Outer Worlds this week, so that review is still a little ways away. But I did pick up a new game for the Switch on sale. It won’t be for everyone, but if you enjoy playing Poker, Texas Holdem, Blackjack and/or Page One but don’t like playing online, then The Card may be a game for you.
It does give The Game a run for its money as the worst searchable game title though! Seriously, who thought that finding The Card Switch would show this title?
As I wrote last week, I was really excited Blood Rage was getting a digital implemntation. After having a few games up my sleeve both physical and digital, I thought it was time for a full review. At it’s heart, Blood Rage has been faithfully translated from it’s physical form.
But be warned – if you are playing solo, there are some quirks for the developers to sort out still. If you are playing multiplayer, there are many more severe issues to be sorted.
So as you would have seen in Last Week’s Gaming, I have been hitting the old Animal Crossing: New Horizons. First as a diversion, but the lure has definitely worked. The relaxing cutesy life simulator is everything I thought of the series, and more. Tom Nook is definitely a master manipulator 🙂
Have a great weekend everyone 🙂
Many people have voiced Resident Evil 3 is great, but flawed. Too short, Mr X was better, missing sections from the original – take your pick.
I am really enjoying Resident Evil 3. It’s gorgeous, the pacing is great, and streamlining the puzzles makes for a great introduction to new players.
But there is more to the game than the headlines would have you believe.
Control is a game that has gotten a lot of hype. Some for the use of Ray Tracing with Nvidia RTX cards, some for the weird story, and some for the frame rate issues on consoles. A lot of the time, this makes Control look like it’s only for certain people.
Well, let me tell you why Control is just an absolute blast to play.
Have a great weekend everyone! 🙂
Last week, I talked about digital board games that you can play at home. One game that is hard to describe well is Tokaido, so today I played the digital version!
