Looking around for what to review, and my eyes kept focusing on my PlayStation 5. OK, it was because I just wanted to kick back and play games, but while I am trying to write up PC guides, I thought why not review this console? So after a film review that wasn’t a review, welcome to a console review that isn’t quite a review either!
So the PlayStation 5 was revealed this morning (Australian time). I got out of bed early and enjoyed the reveal. There is a lot to be excited about, even if not a lot of concrete information came out.
But the information that was revealed is pretty impressive – and divisive. So as no one else on the internet has given their two cents on the topic, I thought today I would give my thoughts on the PlayStation 5 reveal.
All of the buzz at the moment for consoles is the next-gen announcements and specs. But if you are looking at starting your video gaming journey, current-gen has a lot of advantages – manufacturing issues have been worked out, it’s cheaper, and at the end of a console generation, you get the best performance developers can offer for that platform.
