Pretty much everything I get up to, short of the formal reviews.
Journals. I have heard them described as expensive notebooks. And in a lot of ways, this isn’t incorrect. But TYPE40 from Melbourne has a Kickstarter right now that adds a Lovecraftian twist and a imbues the journal with their creative passion. These Call of Cthulhu Journals aren’t just for RPG fans – anyone that loves writing and Lovecraft should check them out.
Android: Netrunner released a new Data Pack today – The Devil and The Dragon. Reading the announcement, my excitement levels jumped at one particular card revealed. This is why I love games like this.
I want to like the Monolith Middle Earth Games. Shadow of War had the dubious honour of adding to the microtransaction bonfire of 2017. But hey guess what? The loot boxes are being removed! That’s great! But really, no. No, it’s not. This feels like the final slap in the face from Waner Brothers on what has the potential to be a great series.
So there are two new games out this week that I have my eye on – the Kickstarter Fireball Island from Restoration Games, and Plaid Hats Starship Samurai. Today I go through some of my thoughts on how the released game rules will influence my decision to buy.
Can’t even slowly slide into the month! For the start of April Kickstarter list, two active projects and one starting tomorrow have caught my eye.
