Welcome to JohnHQLD.com! I’m JohnHQLD, and this is my little corner of the internet. Hopefully, you will come and join us as we share our love of gaming.
Mainly I will be talking about things that catch my interest, primarily in gaming. Board Games, Video Games, Puzzles – I don’t mind. As long as we are all having fun, that’s all I worry about.
If there is anything you would like to discuss or would like my thoughts on, leave me a note on the Facebook page, or @JohnHQLD me on Twitter or Instagram! Follow me on Instagram if you also want to see lots of pics of our pets as well 🙂
This week, the first of the CES 2021 laptops are going to start hitting store shelves. And they are likely to disappear just as quickly. Legacy, and of course I jumped straight into the Resident Evil Village Maiden demo! On top of that, I also started with my first ‘backlog’ game of 2021 – God of War. It was a busy week, but it was a great round of gaming!

Well, I am happy to say that Stage 1 is now complete! What does this mean? Well, I go into the changes and future updates in detail today.
So Wednesday I mentioned Castles of Mad King Ludwig Collector’s Edition is on Kickstarter next week. Today I review the original game to give you an idea of if you may be interested! This Bezier Games staple is a lot of fun, but it’s not for everyone. It’s not as hard to get your head around as you may think though!
Castles of Mad King Ludwig is a game that looks heavier than it is, but that doesn’t mean it’s for everyone. Released in 2014, it is still a highly regarded game and hard to find new. Well, Bezier Games is about to not only start a campaign for Castles of Mad King Ludwig, but there are 2 new expansions included to boot!
