Welcome to JohnHQLD.com! Thank you so much for checking it out. I’m John, and this is my site. Mainly I will be talking about things that catch my interest, primarily in gaming but sometimes in other fields as well. If there is anything you would like to discuss or would like my thoughts on, leave me a note on the Facebook page

Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy the site 😀
I was one of the many people disappointed by the lack of Chrono Trigger on last years Super NES Mini. Well, I didn’t quite get my wish this morning, but it’s definitely the next best thing!
Somewhere around 6 AM Wednesday Feb 28 QLD Time, the next big hit to my wallet is being released! Batman: Gotham City Chronicles has my attention as a redesigned Conan from Monolith, but is Kickstarter Exclusive so there is only one chance to get this one!
Pokemon Go is a game I still fire up on the odd occasion. I can see many companies trying to capture the craze, but I would never have thought Ghostbusters would be a candidate for this.
The Grimm Forest is a fun little resource gathering game with interesting ‘take that’ mechanics. Beautifully presented, simple gameplay yet tense play the player feel. Due for retail release March 13th!
Games like X-Wing, Man o’ War and the like are fantastic experiences. They usually contain a lot of pieces and have a lot of prep time required though. Leviathan seeks to change that with an 18 card microgame of the same depth.
