Crowd Funding

Here is all the Crowdfunding stuff I find interesting and am looking at backing personally.

If the page is quiet, it’s not that I’m not interested – it’s that my wallet is on life support!

PAX Aus/PAX West 2020 Merch and Shelfie Stacker!

Shelfie Stacker Cover Art

Another Wednesday, another round-up on things I am looking forward to! Last week, the Kickstarter for a fun game idea called Shelfie Stacker got bumped for PAX 2020 news. Today, PAX merch is available to order. I didn’t want to push talking about Shelfie Stacker again, so today I talk about two things that are making me spend my money!

Castle Panic Deluxe is live on Kickstarter!

Sorry, I am a little late today folks – I thought it was Tuesday! But today an old favourite of mine Castle Panic hit Kickstarter for a new Deluxe version! New plastic castle, mini’s for enemies and wooden tokens. You can even just upgrade your existing copy! Check out more on the site!

The Messenger sounds interesting, and Burnout coming to Switch

The Messenger Burnout Paradise

So the one Kickstarter project I was interested in this week, I can’t back. Delivery restrictions – they don’t send to Australia. But an old favourite is also coming to Switch this week. How to choose what to write about?

As the meme says – why not both? The Messenger looks like a brain busting puzzle time, and Burnout Paradise is coming to Switch for driving mayhem!

Blood Rage Digital comes to life Tomorrow!

Blood Rage Digital Edition

Normally on Wednesdays I like to talk about Kickstarters that make me excited. This week, unfortuntely, none have quite done that. A few made me smile, but nothing to rave about.

Tomorrow though, the Kickstarted board game Blood Rage launches for retail the Kickstarted Blood Rage Digital. That counts, right?

Stop the Train! Social Deduction on Kickstarter

Stop the Train Box Art

I love social deduction games, but they tend to fall into one of two categories. The first, quick gameplay but hard to invest in and quick to solve. The other are immersive, but long and sometimes overly complicated. Stop the Train! from Escape Plan! (so many !’s) is on Kickstarter now, and looks to merge the two categories into a game I am keen to play.

Roll & Play: The Game Master’s Tabletop Toolkit

Roll & Play Cover Concept Art

When you are starting to create your first role play campaign, your players will always run off in a direction you never thought of. That means as the Storyteller/Games Master/Dungeon Master, you have to come up with a lot of on the spot information. Sometimes, that works. Usually, you get into a campaign breaking situation.

Roll & Play: The Game Master’s Tabletop Toolkit, will be great for building campaigns and tweaking random situations on the fly. And it’s now available on Kickstarter.

Pulp Invasion is live now on Kickstarter

I enjoy catching up with friends over board games. Sometimes I really want to play a game, but no other players. Alpal said that I would enjoy Pulp Detective, but the genre misses a lot for me.

Classic Science Fiction adventure though, that’s another story!

Van Ryder Games new solo game Final Girl now on Kickstarter

Final Girl Cover

So I was looking for games I am excited about coming out on Kickstarter. Frosthaven, Ankh, there are plenty of high profile games that want you to give them your money. But Van Ryder Games snuck under my radar again with the new implementation of a great solo game system.

Final Girl is my April Kickstarter, and I wish I could explain why better!

Draconic Dice Crypt Preview

It’s a Sunday update! Today for something different, I want to talk about an upcoming Kickstarter from Printable Nerd Gear that will surely make a lot of mini players drool!
